Privacy policy
LAST UPDATED: 08/11/2026
1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Adornmonde, Inc. (“Adornmonde,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.adornmonde.com (the “Site”), purchase our products, create an account, contact us, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes the privacy rights available to you depending on where you live, and how to exercise them.
Adornmonde is the business and controller responsible for your personal information. We are incorporated in Nevada, United States, with a principal place of business at 5555 Silver Hills Circle, Sparks, Nevada 89431. This Policy also serves as our notice at collection under California law. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@adornmonde.com or as described in the Contact Us section below.
Because we offer products to customers around the world, this Policy contains jurisdiction-specific sections. The section that applies to you depends on your place of residence. Where a jurisdiction-specific section grants you rights beyond those in the general sections, that section controls for you.
2. Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information, which also map to the categories used under California law:
- Identifiers and contact data: name, email address, postal address, phone number, account username, order number, IP address, device identifiers, and cookie or similar online identifiers.
- Account login credentials: the username and password you use to create and access an account. Under California law this is “sensitive personal information”; see the note in Section 7(a).
- Commercial information: products viewed and purchased, order and transaction history, cart contents, returns, and preferences.
- Internet and device activity: pages viewed, interactions with the Site, referring and exit pages, search terms, and browser and device information.
- Approximate location: general location (such as city or region) inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation.
- Payment information: payment card and transaction details, which are collected and processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay, Klarna, and Apple Pay). We do not store full payment card numbers; cards are tokenized by our providers.
- Customer service and communications: messages, chat, email, and related metadata when you contact us or our support tools.
- Inferences: preferences and characteristics we may derive from the above for personalization and marketing.
We collect this information from you directly, automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Site, and from service providers and partners such as our analytics, attribution, and advertising providers.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Process and fulfill your orders, payments, shipping, returns, and withdrawals or cancellations;
- Create and maintain your account and provide customer support;
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site, and prevent fraud and misuse;
- Send transactional messages and, where permitted, marketing communications you may opt out of at any time;
- Personalize your experience and measure and improve our marketing and advertising;
- Conduct analytics and attribution; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Text messages. If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we send them in accordance with applicable law, including the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and applicable state messaging laws. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. The consent and opt-out details are set out in our Mobile Messaging terms.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the legal bases on which we rely are described in Section 7(c).
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and processors that perform functions on our behalf, including website hosting and commerce (Shopify), payments (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay, Klarna, and Apple Pay), email and SMS (Klaviyo), customer support (Richpanel), returns and withdrawals (Redo), on-site search (SearchSpring), accessibility (Accessibly), bot protection (hCaptcha), and analytics and attribution;
- Advertising and analytics partners (including Meta, Google, Snapchat, and Pinterest) that help us deliver and measure advertising; disclosures to these partners may be a “sale” or “sharing” as described in Section 5;
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors;
- Authorities and others where necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect rights, safety, and property; and
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
The specific list of our sub-processors changes from time to time. A current list is available on request at privacy@adornmonde.com. We disclose account login credentials only as needed to provide and secure your account. We only use your login credentials for necessary account and security purposes.
Communications and monitoring. When you contact us through chat, email, or other support channels, your messages are handled on our behalf by third-party customer-service tools and may be recorded, monitored, and stored to provide support, ensure quality, and prevent fraud. Where we use automated chat features, we will identify them as automated.
5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information; Targeted Advertising
Like many online retailers, we use advertising and analytics technologies that make certain personal information, such as online and device identifiers and browsing activity, available to third-party advertising partners (including Meta, Google, Snapchat, and Pinterest) to deliver personalized and cross-context behavioral advertising and to measure its effectiveness. Under some privacy laws, these disclosures are treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or as “targeted advertising,” even though we do not exchange your information for money.
You can opt out. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, email privacy@adornmonde.com or use this link. We also recognize opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If you enable GPC in your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser and, where you are logged in, for your account.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without opt-in consent.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies that fall into the following categories: strictly necessary (required for the Site to function), functional or preference, analytics or performance, and advertising or targeting. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Other categories are set based on your choices and any opt-out preference signal you send.
We manage cookie consent through Shopify’s native consent management. You can review the categories in use and change your preferences at any time through our “Cookie Consent” banner.
Do Not Track. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how businesses should respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals sent by web browsers, we do not respond to DNT signals. We do, however, honor the Global Privacy Control as an opt-out preference signal, as described in Section 5.
7. Your Privacy Rights
The rights available to you depend on where you live. The following sections describe those rights and how to exercise them. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
7(a). California
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; delete personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information; obtain a portable copy of your personal information; and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
Sensitive personal information. The only category of sensitive personal information we collect is your account login credentials, which we use solely to provide and secure your account. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics or for any purpose that gives rise to the right to limit its use, so we do not offer a separate “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” option.
Categories. The categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients are described in Sections 2, 3, and 4. In the preceding twelve months, we shared or sold identifiers, internet and device activity, and commercial information with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we disclosed the categories in Section 2 to service providers for the business purposes in Section 3.
How to exercise your rights. Submit a request by emailing privacy@adornmonde.com or by using this link. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, which we may extend by an additional 45 days with notice. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, provided the agent gives us proof of authorization and we can verify your identity.
Financial incentive notice. At times we offer a financial incentive. When you sign up for our email list, you may receive a sign-up offer pursuant to the terms of the offer at the time. The category of personal information we collect for this program is your contact information (email address and related identifiers). You may opt in by signing up and withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. Participation is voluntary.
Minors. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 without opt-in consent. See Section 11 for our general practices regarding minors.
California Civil Code Section 1789.3. California residents may reach the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, California 95834, or (800) 952-5210.
7(b). Other States in the USA
If you reside in a US state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law (including, among others, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and a growing number of others), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information; to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal information; and, where applicable, to opt out of certain profiling. To exercise these rights, use the request methods in Section 7(a).
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by contacting us at privacy@adornmonde.com. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
We honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms, including the Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal information. We do not process sensitive data as defined by these laws other than account credentials used to provide the service; where opt-in consent for sensitive data is required, we obtain it.
Nevada. Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of certain covered personal information by emailing privacy@adornmonde.com.
7(c). European Union and European Economic Area (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, Adornmonde is the controller of your personal information. We process it on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to process your orders and provide your account); our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Site and our business, to conduct analytics, and for certain marketing, subject to your right to object); your consent (for non-essential cookies and certain marketing, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal information; to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing; to withdraw consent; and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects (we do not carry out such decision-making). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We respond to requests without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt, which we may extend by up to two further months for complex or numerous requests, in which case we will inform you within the first month.
EU representative. Information about our EU representative can be disclosed upon request via an email to privacy@adornmonde.com.
International transfers of your personal information are described in Section 8.
7(d). United Kingdom
If you are in the UK, we process your personal information in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and you have rights equivalent to those in Section 7(c), including the same one-month response time. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Our UK representative under Article 27 of the UK GDPR can be disclosed upon request via an email to privacy@adornmonde.com. International transfers are described in Section 8.
7(e). Australia
If you are in Australia, we handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. You may request access to, and correction of, your personal information, and we will respond within a reasonable period, which is generally 30 days. You may complain to us using the contact details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. We may disclose your personal information to recipients located overseas, including in the United States and Canada, and we take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7(f). Canada
If you are in Canada, we handle your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, including Quebec’s Law 25. You may request access to, and correction of, your personal information, and we will respond within 30 days. You may withdraw your consent to certain uses of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual limits. We may transfer your personal information to service providers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to access under the laws of those countries, and we use contractual and other measures to require a comparable level of protection. You may complain to us using the contact details below, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca; residents of Quebec may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
8. International Data Transfers
Adornmonde is based in the United States, and our service providers are located in the United States, Canada, and other countries. Our Site is hosted by Shopify in the United States and Canada. When we transfer personal information out of the EEA, the UK, or other regions that restrict such transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with a transfer risk assessment where required. A copy of the relevant safeguards is available on request at privacy@adornmonde.com.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and operational obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Our typical retention periods are:
- Order and transaction records: 7 years, for tax and legal compliance;
- Customer account information: for the life of your account, plus 2 years after it is closed;
- Customer service communications: 3 years;
- Email and SMS marketing preferences and history: until you unsubscribe or your account is deleted;
- Analytics and usage data: up to 2 years; de-identified or aggregated data may be kept for longer, and we do not attempt to re-identify it;
- Cookies and similar technologies: for the periods described in our cookie tool, up to a maximum of 2 years for persistent cookies.
When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Site and our products are intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not direct the Site to, or knowingly collect personal information from, children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without opt-in consent. We may take reasonable steps to verify age and to prevent anyone under 18 from creating an account or completing a purchase, as described in our Terms of Service. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Policy on the Site and update the “Last Updated” date. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by applicable law. We review and update this Policy at least once every 12 months.
