5/5 for style, 1 star for the actual design. This was so freaking hard to get on. The hearts are internally threaded and the shape makes it so challenging to screw onto the u shaped hoop/post. I would prefer the heart to have a pin that fits into the backing. Because it screws it’s hard to get the heats to face the same direction.
Double hearts for double love! I’ve had a sensitive pierced hole for a while. Other earrings and backings kept irritating it. This earring has been so comfortable from as soon as I put it on! I was shocked how fast it came too!!
I know the point is to have small earrings I can wear all the time. That’s what I want and need. And they are so so cute. But with my 50 year old eyes it’s been a challenge to get them on. I had to have my 17 year old with young eyes and fingers help and even she struggled. We dropped the back 20 times and spent hours looking for it in the carpet. I wish there was a trick to it. One of the backs fell off and I just don’t have the stamina to try and get the thing back on. So bummed.
Dainty and cute but hearts are tinier than expected
I love how this earring seamlessly gives the illusion of two earrings. However, one downside is placement is limited and tricky. I found the 5 mm fits my third lobe and the upper helix on my other ear, but it could only be oriented correctly on the lobe, e.g. I couldn't find a way to orient it so the hearts were facing upwards on my helix.
Also, the jewelry irritated melix when I slept on it. I attribute that to how sensitive my helix piercings are to anything but a stud, though. If you're like me in that way, I suggest you plan to use it in a lobe.
It fits well and is cute, however, the attachable heart fell off, thankfully while I was at home, and is extremely difficult to put on and screw in place.
