I purchased the smaller size for my upper lobe. It is definitely a tight fit. It took me several tries to get the tiny ball threaded, either the help of reading glasses and the small gripper tool that I purchased after reading several reviews.
I wish the gold balls were just a bit larger. My piercing is by no means stretched, but I worry if I were to catch it on something, the earring could pull through. And of course, if I were to purchase it again, I would buy the 7 mm size vs. the 5 mm…although when looking at the photo it doesn’t appear as tight as it looks in the mirror.

I replaced my helix hoop with this and I love it! My skin gets sensitive when exposed for water for too long, so hoops that tend to trap water aren’t the best. This earring is cute and fun and gives a new look to my helix piercing!
